The process of removing a company from Google Maps

Ways to delete a company
1. Complete removal of the company from Google Maps
In order for the company to completely disappear, you must first change its status to “Closed forever”.
Step-by-step instructions:
- Go to your company profile control panel via Google Search.
- Click on the three dots to the right.
- Choose “Company profile settings”.
- Click “Remove company profile” and label it as “Closed forever”.
- Return to the previous menu and select “Removal of content and administrators”.
2. Removing yourself as an administrator (does NOT remove the company from the maps)
If you go to the list of all companies associated with your account by following the link: ➡ Google Business Locations
… and remove the company, you simply lose access to its management. The profile itself will remain on the map. To remove it, you will have to go through the verification process again, which can be difficult, especially if the business is already closed.
