Real case of Trade System Glass: successful promotion on Google
TSG, one of the leading automotive glass manufacturers in Ukraine, contacted us in early 2021 for help in verifying several points on Google Maps. To be honest, at first we were unable to complete all the incoming tasks. Points in Odessa were not confirmed for quite a long time. We already know that this was due to duplicates and accounts within the company that violated the rules of publication on Maps, but at that time we did not have the status of an Official Expert and we were not able to obtain such information.
Input data:
- Almost all of the company’s locations violated the rules for publishing on Google Maps. The company used both incorrect names and incorrect keywords in the name. This could be the reason for blocking the locations.
- In some places, signs and their photos were missing.
- Photo / video materials of inadequate quality or content that does not belong to the company were used. This also slows down the algorithm.
- Not all locations were in local directories.
- Since keywords were not registered, Google My Business accounts worked at 50%.
What we did in 2021:
- We optimized Google My Business and Google Maps services using our technologies.
- We provided high-quality photo materials that will help users not only find the company better, but will also work favorably on the search algorithm.
- We added 360 photos to each object (Video about the effectiveness of such videos)
- We added the company to directories that will strengthen the indexing in Google search for the company, points on the map and the company’s website.
- We made a schedule of TSG publications in comparison with competitors. Now, by adhering to the established schedule and timely servicing of points, you can multiply the achieved result.

Using simple mathematics, we can see that:
- The number of queries on the map that the company was involved in increased by 219%.
- The number of searches for the company on the map and in Google increased by 108%.
- The number of calls to the company increased by 92%.
- The number of keywords by which the company is found increased from 57 to 201, and profile views increased by 136%.
The overall indicators clearly indicate successful progress, but since this point in the Dnipro was one of the weakest, we will now consider another of the five points, which has high competition and a longer history of development without our participation.

Using simple mathematics, we can see that:
- The number of queries on the map that the company was involved in, the growth is 259%.
- The number of searches for the company on the map and in Google, the growth is 267%
- The growth in the number of appeals to the company is 480%
- The number of keywords by which the company is found has increased from 125 to 156, the profile view has increased by 45%.
Summary 2021
Within 4 months, we have processed 5 points of our client. Although the stated term of our work is usually up to 50 days. When we work on a point on the map for a long time, this means that we are simultaneously engaged in its maintenance, as a result, this gives an even better result.
Usually, at the end of our work, all clients who have ordered a service package no lower than GEO Advertising receive a publication schedule that is calculated relative to the activity of competitors and in comparison with them. This allows the client to independently manage the point. The client also receives a service of training and maintaining points on the map or an exclusive training video course for the employee responsible for maintaining points on the map.
When the client does not have such a responsible person and cannot manage the points on the map independently, we provide such a service with a monthly fee. Earlier in our article, we published a study in which we proved that such work has been effective since the beginning of 2019 due to changes in the Google Search algorithm.
But there are no pluses without minuses: one of the 5 points practically did not add + 7% to the statistics and only 30 new key queries. Perhaps it will be a little later, since the work on it was carried out last, perhaps the point reached its maximum in organic search, which also happens. We inform you of this information because Mappers GEO is primarily engaged in research in working with the Google algorithm and does it honestly and transparently.
Update on the case of profile promotion in Dnipro for auto glass sales in 2025
After almost 4 years, we returned to the profiles of these companies to analyze the statistics of these profiles.
Dnipro:


We are tracking some decline in positions and statistics compared to 2023, in particular, we believe this is due to the renaming of the street on which the company is located, as we have repeatedly written, this can greatly affect the company, because all the quotes on the network regarding the profile become not useful. However, there is still an overall increase in statistics compared to what we had in 2021, because the number of actions in the profile increased from 52 to 347.
But the decline in search queries is due to the change of address, because both the links and quotes that we made lost their relevance. Unfortunately, the company lost its leading positions, and the competitor company copied a large amount of information and methods that we implemented in 2021 and is behaving much more actively than our former client:

Unlike Dnipro, the point in Kyiv has a higher number of views on the map, as it has 30% more citations. We also see a large number of permanent publications on the map, but it is a pity that these are videos, which, as we know, are not currently indexed.
Conclusions 2025:
Excluding some nuances, the company shows stable growth over 4 years, which reached a certain plateau in the last year. It is advisable to make new additions to directories and services by changing street names and work on the site, in particular Local Pages. It would also not hurt to conduct training among those who manage profiles on the Map, most likely this is done by some SMM manager without knowledge of the matter. I think even greater results can be achieved. We also see a large number of competitors who violate the rules of publication, which can also be worked on.
